Las Lenas Season Pass Price 2009: 3474 Argentine Pesos (Approx. $945 USD) The price of the pass does not change if you buy it earlier or later. You can pay for the season pass in Las Leñas with a credit card and ID. You can't lose your season pass as if you lose it, Las Leñas will not replace it, even if you have a receipt. Yes we know, this is ridiculous, welcome to Las Leñas. |

In 2002 for the first time in Las Leñas there were quite a few foreigners simply doing a season there skiing and riding and not working. It is impossible to find any type of work in Las Leñas as a foreigner due to the lack of jobs in Argentina for Argentineans and visa regulations. You can however get a job as a ski or snowboard instructor if you are certified instructor and speak Spanish, we recommend contacting the Las Lenas ski school direclty for this . If you want to go to just ski and ride you can buy a season's pass with your credit card at the resort. As far as renting an apartment for the season, it is basically impossible to organize before arriving, other than contacting us and renting one of our Corbus apartments for the whole season. |

Another more affordable option is renting an apartment or cabana in Los Molles or in Malargue. Although Malargue is 45 minutes away, there is a bus that goes to Las Leñas every day and accommodation rates are much cheaper. Some of the hostels also have their own vans to take you to Las Leñas and back to Malargue at the end of the day.
There are no longer any "deals" for long term accommodation. If you are staying for a month or longer you may get a bit of a break but it is generally the weekly rate multiplied by the amount of weeks you want to stay, even for the season. |

We recommend potentially booking a night or two ahead of time at a Las Leñas hotel or at Los Molles or Malargue while looking for accommodation so you are not stranded upon arrival in Las Leñas with all your bags. Again, one way to look for accommodation upon arrival is at the Ski Leñas office located at the entrance to Las Leñas where security is as well. You can contact Skilenas at informes@laslenas.com
If you plan to stay in Las Leñas or Argentina for a long time, we highly recommend learning Spanish.
See the Doing a Season section for more information.
